Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
