We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
