We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
