We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night.
