We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
