THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
