We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
