And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
