Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
