And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
