We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
