And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
