And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
