Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
