And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
