We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
