Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
