Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
