And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
