We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
