We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
