We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
