And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
