We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
