And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
