Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
