We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine]. [See the "Book of History" by Ibn Kathir]. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
