Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
