We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
