And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
