We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
