We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
