And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
