We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
