We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
