Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
