And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
