We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
