We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
