We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
