Hizb 46
< random >
And indeed Yunus is one of the Noble Messengers. 139 He ran away to the laden ship, 140 And lots were cast (when a storm overtook them), he was rejected, (and thrown overboard). 141 The fish swallowed him up and he deserved (all this). 142 Had he not been of them who glorify Allah, 143 He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on to the vacant surface of the earth while he was sick. 145 And We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him; 146 And We had sent him to a hundred thousand: rather they exceeded. 147 and they believed. So We let them enjoy life for a while. 148 AND NOW ask them to enlighten thee: Has thy Sustainer daughters, whereas they would have [only] sons? 149 Did We create the angels females, to which they were witnesses? 150 Lo! verily it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 "God has begotten children." They are truly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters over sons? 153 What is amiss with you and your judgment? 154 Will you not then reflect? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Then bring your book, if you are truthful. 157 And some people have invented a kinship between Him and all manner of invisible forces although [even] these invisible forces know well that, verily, they [who thus blaspheme against God] shall indeed be arraigned [before Him on Judgment Day: for] 158 limitless is God in His glory, above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 159 Except His chosen creatures who do not. 160 But as for you, and that you serve, 161 Ye cannot excite (anyone) against Him. 162 Save him Who is to roast in the Flaming Fire. 163 None of us is there, but has a known station; 164 and, verily, we too are ranged [before Him in worship]; 165 And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah." 166 Even though they (unbelievers) say, 167 'If only we had a reminder from the ancients, 168 we would surely have been Allah's chosen servants.” 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 And certainly Our word has already gone forth in respect of Our servants, the apostles: 171 That undoubtedly, only they will be helped. 172 And verily Our host! they are to be overcome. 173 So turn thou aside from them for a season. 174 And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see. 175 Do they wish (indeed) to hurry on our Punishment? 176 When it descends on their courtyards, how terrible that morning will be for those who were warned! 177 And turn away from them till a time 178 and see; soon they shall see! 179 LIMITLESS in His glory is thy Sustainer, the Lord of almightiness, [exalted] above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 180 And peace be upon all His message-bearers! 181 And all the praise and thanks be to Allah, Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
