Hizb 46
< random >
And verily Yunus was of the sent ones. 139 He abandoned his people 140 And then they cast lots, and he was the one who lost; 141 then the whale swallowed him down, and he blameworthy. 142 Now had he not been of those that glorify God, 143 He would have tarried in its belly till the day when they are raised; 144 ۞ but We cast him upon the wilderness, and he was sick, 145 And We made a gourd tree grow over him. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (people) or even more. 147 And they believed; so We permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses?" 150 Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, 151 "God has begotten children." They are truly liars. 152 Did He (then) choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you decide? 154 Do you not understand? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Bring your Book, if what you say is true! 157 And they assert a relationship between Him and the jinn; and certainly the jinn do know that they shall surely be brought up; 158 Glorified be Allah from that which they attribute (unto Him), 159 Except His chosen creatures who do not. 160 So indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship, 161 can cause anyone to fall prey to your temptation 162 except him who shall roast in the Blazing Fire. 163 As for us, there is none but has an appointed station. 164 we are the rangers, 165 we are they that give glory. 166 And indeed they (Arab pagans) used to say; 167 'If only we had had a Reminder from the ancients, 168 we would have certainly been sincere servants of God". 169 But they disbelieve in it (the Koran), but soon they shall know! 170 And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers, 171 that they shall certainly be succoured, 172 And surely, only Our army will be victorious. 173 Therefore turn away from them for some time. 174 Watch them: they will soon see. 175 Do they want to suffer Our torment immediately? 176 When it comes down on their plains, it will be an evil dawn for those who had been warned. 177 And turn away from them till a time 178 And see thou: they themselves shall presently see. 179 LIMITLESS in His glory is thy Sustainer, the Lord of almightiness, [exalted] above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 180 And peace be unto the sent ones. 181 And Praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
