Hizb 46
< random >
Jonah, too, was one of the Messengers. 139 When he ran away to a ship completely laden, 140 And then drew lots and was of those rejected; 141 Then a (big) fish swallowed him and he had done an act worthy of blame. 142 Now had he not been of those that glorify God, 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness, 145 And We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him; 146 We sent him as a messenger to a hundred thousand people or more, 147 And they believed, so We gave them provision till a time. 148 Now ask thou them: are there for thy Lord daughters and for them sons? 149 Have We created the angels as females before their very eyes? 150 Is it not of their own calumny that they say, 151 That “Allah has offspring”; and indeed, surely, they are liars. 152 Does He prefer sons to daughters? 153 What is amiss with you and your judgment? 154 What, and will you not remember? 155 Do you have any clear authority for such claims? 156 Then bring your scripture, if what you say is true. 157 They have said that there is a relationship between Him and the jinn. The jinn certainly know that they will all be brought to suffer torment. 158 Exaltations to Allah above what they describe, 159 But not so the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 160 For, verily, neither ye nor those ye worship- 161 Cannot lead astray [turn away from Him (Allah) anyone of the believers], 162 except those who are doomed to enter hell. 163 (Those ranged in ranks say): "Not one of us but has a place appointed; 164 “And indeed we, with our wings spread, await the command.” 165 And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah." 166 AND, INDEED, they [who deny the truth] have always been wont to say, 167 "Had we received guidance from the people living before us, 168 we would have been sincere worshipers of Allah' 169 But (now) they disbelieve in it, so they will come to know. 170 Our word had already been given before to Our votaries, the apostles, -- 171 will certainly be victorious 172 And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome. 173 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) awhile, 174 And watch them (how they fare), and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! 175 Then for Our punishment are they impatient? 176 So when it does descend in their courtyards so what an evil morning it will be for those who were warned! 177 And turn away from them till a time 178 And watch; they will come to know soon. 179 Glory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)! 180 And peace be unto the sent ones. 181 And praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds! 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
تدرب على حفظ القرآن بمستويات مختلفة للمبتدئين والمحترفين. تخفي صفحات التمارين بعض الكلمات بحسب المستوى، ويتم ذلك بألوان جميلة أيضًا.
Practice memorizing the Quran (Hifz) with different levels from beginner to expert. Exercise pages hide some words depending on the level, also done in beautiful colors.
