Hizb 46

And indeed Yunus is one of the Noble Messengers. 139 when he fled like a runaway slave onto a laden ship. 140 And lots were cast (when a storm overtook them), he was rejected, (and thrown overboard). 141 The fish swallowed him up and he deserved (all this). 142 Had he not been one of those who glorify Allah, 143 he would indeed have remained in its belly till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: 144 ۞ But We cast him, upon the shore, and he was ill, 145 and caused a gourd tree to grow over him, 146 And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more. 147 And they came to believe; so We allowed them to enjoy the good things of life for an age. 148 (Muhammad), ask them, "Do daughters belong to your Lord and sons to them? 149 Or that have We created the angels as females, while they were present? 150 Now surely it is of their own lie that they say: 151 "God has begotten children." They are truly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What is the matter with you that you make such strange judgements? 154 “So do you not ponder?” 155 “Or do you have some clear proof?” 156 Then bring your scripture, if what you say is true. 157 They have set up a kinship between Him and the jinn; and the jinn know that they shall be arraigned. 158 Glory be to Allah (for freedom) from what they describe; 159 Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin]. 160 But as for you, and that you worship, 161 Cannot lead astray [turn away from Him (Allah) anyone of the believers], 162 except for he who shall roast in Hell. 163 As for us, there is none but has an appointed station. 164 And indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer]. 165 And verily we! we hallow. 166 They used to say: 167 “If we had some advice from the earlier generations,” 168 "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!" 169 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! 170 And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers, 171 will certainly be victorious 172 And that certainly Our armies will be victorious. 173 Therefore turn away from them for some time. 174 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 175 What, do they seek to hasten Our punishment? 176 When that chastisement will descend upon their courtyard, evil shall that Day be for those who had been warned. 177 And turn thou aside from them for a season. 178 And watch (how they fare) and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! 179 Your Lord, the Lord of Honor, is too exalted to be considered as they describe Him. 180 And peace be unto the sent ones. 181 And all praise unto Allah the Lord of the worlds. 182
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
