And We have not created the heaven and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain in vain. That is the opinion of those who disbelieve. And woe unto those who disbelieve from the Fire. 27 shall We treat those who believe and do good works the same as those who spread corruption in the land; shall We treat the pious the same as the wicked? 28 It is a Blessed Book that We have sent down to you (Prophet Muhammad), so that those possessed with minds might ponder its verses and remember. 29 We bestowed Solomon on David who was an excellent devotee, for he turned to God in penitence. 30 When the noble galloping horses were displayed to him one evening, 31 And he said: "Alas! I did love the good (these horses) instead of remembering my Lord (in my 'Asr prayer)" till the time was over, and (the sun) had hidden in the veil (of night). 32 Bring them back unto me; and he set about slashing their legs and necks. 33 And We certainly tried Solomon and placed on his throne a body; then he returned. 34 he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Forgive me my sins, and bestow upon me the gift of a kingdom which may not suit anyone after me: verily, Thou alone art a giver of gifts!" 35 So We subjected the wind to him, so that it ran softly by his command wherever he wished; 36 and We also subjected the devils to him -- all kinds of builders and divers; 37 And other demons bound in chains. 38 'This is Our gift, give or withhold without reckoning' 39 Indeed an exalted position of nearness awaits him and an excellent resort. 40
