Remember Our votary Job because he called to his Lord: "Satan has afflicted me with disease and distress." 41 'Stamp thy foot! This is a laving-place cool, and a drink.' 42 And We bestowed his household to him and one more similar to it – as a mercy from Us, and as a remembrance for the people of intellect. 43 "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)! 44 And remember Our bondmen Ibrahim, and Ishaq, and Yaqub – the men of power and knowledge. 45 We indeed gave them distinction with a genuine affair – the remembrance of the (everlasting) abode. 46 and, in Our sight they were indeed among the select, the truly good! 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 LET [all] this be a reminder [to those who believe in God] - for, verily, the most beauteous of all goals awaits the God-conscious: 49 the Gardens of eternity with gates thrown wide open to them. 50 Reclining therein, calling therein for many fruits and drink. 51 ۞ And with them are those of modest gaze, companions. 52 This is what is promised you for the Day of Reckoning. 53 This is Our provision for you, never to end. 54 This: and verily for the exorbitant there shall be an evil retreat: 55 Gehenna, wherein they are roasted - an evil cradling! 56 This is so! Then let them taste it, a boiling fluid and dirty wound discharges. 57 And similar other punishments in pairs. 58 (We shall say to their leaders): 'This is a troop rushing in with you, there is no welcome for them, they shall roast in the Fire' 59 They will reply: “Rather, no welcome to you. (You will roast in Hell.) It is you who led us to this end. What an evil resort!” 60 They say, “Our Lord! Whoever has brought this calamity upon us – double the punishment of the fire for him!” 61 They will say to one another: “But why do we not see those whom we considered him among the wicked? 62 Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?" 63 Indeed, that is truth - the quarreling of the people of the Fire. 64
