And remember Our servant Job: when he cried to his Lord: “Behold, Satan has afflicted me with much hardship and suffering.” 41 We said, "Stamp your foot! Here is cool water for you to wash in and drink," 42 And We bestowed on him (again) his household and therewith the like thereof, a mercy from Us, and a memorial for men of understanding. 43 We told him, "Take a handful of straw. Strike your wife with it to fulfill your oath." We found him to be patient. What an excellent servant he was. He was certainly most repenting. 44 Remember Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- possessors of strength and vision. 45 for, verily, We purified them by means of a thought most pure: the remembrance of the life to come. 46 Lo! in Our sight they are verily of the elect, the excellent. 47 Recall Ismael, Elisha, and Dhulkifl (Ezekiel) who were all virtuous people. 48 This is a Reminder, and verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) is a good final return (Paradise), 49 Gardens Everlasting, whereof the portals remain opened for them. 50 Reclining therein, calling therein for many fruits and drink. 51 ۞ And with them will be women limiting [their] glances and of equal age. 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 this is Our provision, unto which there is no end.' 54 This is so! And for the Taghun (transgressors, disobedient to Allah and His Messenger - disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, criminals, etc.), will be an evil final return (Fire), 55 they will burn, in Hell, an evil resting place -- 56 This is for the criminals – so that they may taste it – boiling hot water and pus. 57 And other (punishment) of the same kind-- of various sorts. 58 This is a crowd rushing in along with you; no welcome for them; verily they are to roast in the Fire. 59 They will say, "Nor you! No welcome for you. You, [our leaders], brought this upon us, and wretched is the settlement." 60 adding, "Our Lord, give double punishment to those who brought this upon us." 61 And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst? 62 "Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64
