(Muhammad), recall Our servant Job. When he prayed to his Lord saying, "Satan has afflicted me with hardship and torment," 41 We said to him, “Strike the earth with your foot; this cool spring is for bathing and drinking.” (A spring gushed forth when he struck the earth – this was a miracle.) 42 And We bestowed on him (again) his household and therewith the like thereof, a mercy from Us, and a memorial for men of understanding. 43 "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)! 44 Also, remember Our worshipers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, those of might and vision. 45 Verily We exalted them in consideration of a sterling quality: their remembrance of the Abode of the Hereafter. 46 And in Our sight, they are indeed the chosen ones, the beloved. 47 Remember [Our servants] Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu'l-Kifl. Each of them was among the just. 48 This is a Reminder, and verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) is a good final return (Paradise), 49 Everlasting Gardens – all its gates are open for them. 50 in which they will recline, and call for abundant fruit and drink therein. 51 ۞ And with them are the pure spouses, who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, of single age. 52 'This is what you were promised for the Day of Reckoning; 53 Our provision (for you) will never be exhausted. 54 All this (is for the God-fearing). But for the transgressors, an evil resort awaits them -- 55 Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the resting place. 56 All this; so let them taste it - boiling water and pus, 57 And similar other punishments in pairs. 58 [And they will say to one another: "Do you see] this crowd of people rushing headlong to join you?" "No welcome to them! Indeed, they are headed for the fire!" 59 (The followers of the misleaders will say): "Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!" 60 They will say: our Lord! whosever hath brought this upon us, unto him increase doubly the torment of the Fire. 61 And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst? 62 Was it that we (only) took them in scorn, or have our eyes (now) turned aside from them? 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64
