(Muhammad), recall Our servant Job. When he prayed to his Lord saying, "Satan has afflicted me with hardship and torment," 41 (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink. 42 And We gave him his family and the like of them with them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to those possessed of understanding. 43 And We said, “Take a broom in your hand and strike her with it, and do not break your vow”; We indeed found him patiently enduring; what an excellent bondman! He is indeed most inclined. 44 And remember Our servants Ibrahim and Ishaq and Yaqoub, men of power and insight. 45 Verily We! We distinguished them with a distinct quality: the remembrance of the Abode. 46 And verily they are with us of the elect of the excellent ones. 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 gardens of perpetual bliss, with gates wide-open to them, 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for plenteous fruit and drink. 51 ۞ And with them shall be those restraining their eyes, equals in age. 52 All this is what you are promised for the Day of Judgement. 53 (It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will never finish; 54 This (shall be so); and most surely there is an evil resort for the inordinate ones; 55 Hell; which they shall enter; what an evil resting-place! 56 This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence. 57 And other [punishments] of its type [in various] kinds. 58 This is a crowd rushing in along with you; no welcome for them; verily they are to roast in the Fire. 59 Their followers will say, "In fact, it is you who deserve condemnation. It was you who led us to hell, a terrible dwelling". 60 They shall say: Our Lord! whoever prepared it first for us, add Thou to him a double chastisement in the fire. 61 And they will say: "What is the matter with us that we see not men whom we used to count among the bad ones?" 62 and whom we mocked? Have they been rescued or can our eyes not find them?" 63 Truly that is just and fitting,- the mutual recriminations of the People of the Fire! 64
