And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: The Shaitan has afflicted me with toil and torment. 41 'Stamp thy foot! This is a laving-place cool, and a drink.' 42 And We granted him his family and a like [number] with them as mercy from Us and a reminder for those of understanding. 43 And We said, “Take a broom in your hand and strike her with it, and do not break your vow”; We indeed found him patiently enduring; what an excellent bondman! He is indeed most inclined. 44 And commemorate Our Servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, possessors of Power and Vision. 45 We chose them for a special [purpose] -- proclaiming the message of the Hereafter: 46 Lo! in Our sight they are verily of the elect, the excellent. 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is a reminder; and most surely there is an excellent resort for those who guard (against evil), 49 Everlasting Gardens – all its gates are open for them. 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for fruits in abundance and drinks; 51 ۞ and wherein there shall be with them well-matched, bashful mates. 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 Lo! this in truth is Our provision, which will never waste away. 54 This is so! And for the Taghun (transgressors, disobedient to Allah and His Messenger - disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, criminals, etc.), will be an evil final return (Fire), 55 They will suffer in hell. What a terrible dwelling! 56 This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence. 57 and other such torments. 58 Here is a multitude rushing headlong with you. There is no welcome for them. They will roast in the fire. 59 They will reply: “Rather, no welcome to you. (You will roast in Hell.) It is you who led us to this end. What an evil resort!” 60 They say, 'Our Lord, whoso forwarded this for us, give him a double chastisement in the Fire!' 61 They will say to one another: “But why do we not see those whom we considered him among the wicked? 62 Have we taken them in mockery? Or, have our eyes swerved from them?' 63 Verily, that is the very truth, the mutual dispute of the people of the Fire! 64
